Salutations.

Hello to anyone who might be reading this. This is my first attempt at a blog. Here's a bit about me. I love the mountains, the smell of baking cookies, photography, zebra print earrings, mini skirts, learning new things, sunsets over the ocean, walking barefoot through the grass, the smell of new books, movies and popcorn, hanging with my friends and above all else, my family.

I also love shopping. I love scoring a deal, trying on crazy outfits, bringing your new clothes home. And today was Black Friday. So guess where I was at midnight? If you said sleeping in some cold parking lot, waiting in line to go run inside, then you are wrong. I was snuggled up in a warm bed. I have never been a part of this "culture." Don't get me wrong, I am all for a bargain; but not when that bargain is accompanied with children being trampled, old women armed with pepper spray, and shootings outside. Not just to mention the less severe confrontations and overall chaos. I understand that not everyone participating in Black Friday is out to hurt everyone else, just so they can purchase the Kinect for one low price; it just happens all too often.
And I won't lie. I did go shopping today, only we left at 10:00. The next morning that is. Felt early enough for me! We even got some great deals, along with some beauty sleep!

I am still on a turkey high from yesterday and just enjoyed some incredible leftovers. Comment with your favorite thanksgiving food. I can't say I have just one, but this year I would have to say the stuffing with morel mushrooms. Incredible. I also hope that everyone had an amazing day with their families.

Write soon,
dreamergirl
